The result of a three-day joint engagement in November 2006 between members of 3Cs and Brian Holmes, during which we drifted through RTP and the newly-constructed American Tobacco complex in Durham with the aim of beginning to understand the conditions of the knowledge and "creative class" economy in the Triangle. This presentation on the corporatization, flexibilization, and militarization of "creative class" industries was given by Brian Holmes at the "My Creativity" conference in Amsterdam.
