I'm an independent consultant with skills in GIS-based research and data analysis, cartographic design, and interactive web mapping. I've mostly worked with non-profits, particularly around social justice projects, but don't limit myself to that sphere. If you've got an interesting problem and want to use map-making or GIS as a tool, or if you just need custom maps of an existing dataset, drop me a line at tim.stallmann (at) gmail.com

Organizers at the Southern Coalition for Social Justice needed maps to use in trainings across the Southeast, as they helped grassroots organizations target their census-related outreach work. I designed this series of county-scale maps, which gave organizers information at-a-glance about the Hard-to-Count areas and population distribution in their counties. |
